I am a creative, task-oriented person. Task-oriented people tend to focus on beginning and completing perfect projects. However, I’m learning to enjoy the middle process. I have found real joy imbedded in step 1 and step 2 of my creative process.
I consider my life a creative process. My life is an adventure of me following the Lord by learning His way, falling, trying again, succeeding, and doing it all over again. Being overly focused on the perfect end product has proven to be stressful for me. Besides, in life, what constitutes a perfect end product? Why not live with peace and joy while enjoying the journey of your life? When I think about Jesus’ miraculous birth into this world, I’m reminded to relax on trying to create the perfect outcome I have created in my own mind. What if my miracle is wrapped in a package comparable to a manger setting. A setting full of animals and everything that comes with being outside in nature. Whatever the Lord has in mind for my life, I want it and I want to enjoy the process of loving life.
Philippians 1:6
I am confident that the Creator, who has begun such a great work among you, will not stop in mid-design but will keep perfecting you until the day Jesus the Anointed, our Liberating King, returns to redeem the world.
Philippians 1: 9-11 Here’s what I pray for you:
Father, may their love grow more and more in wisdom and insight— so they will be able to examine and determine the best from everything else. And on the day of the Anointed One, the day of His judgment, let them stand pure and blameless, filled with the fruit of righteousness that ripens through Jesus the Anointed.
I am thankful for how I’m able to glorify the Lord with my life. I am thankful for the joy of working for the good if His kingdom and my hope is for more people to begin a journey of trusting Him because of the witness seen in my life. In 2018, look for more inspiration from Karla Nivens Entertainment and through my work with Love Ministries. I am looking forward to enjoying the journey of life because of the great peace Jesus Christ provides and I pray you will experience growth in your faith in Jesus as well as true joy as you receive grace from the Lord.
Have a happy and blessed New Year!
